​1. What is Indian Head Massage? Indian Head Massage is a gentle, holistic treatment that focuses on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp, and face. It’s based on ancient Ayurvedic techniques and is designed to relieve tension, promote relaxation, and improve overall well-being.

2. What are the benefits of Indian Head Massage? Some of the many benefits include: Reduced stress and anxiety Relief from tension headaches and migraines Improved sleep and mental clarity Loosening of tight neck and shoulder muscles Improved blood and lymphatic circulation A sense of deep relaxation and balance

3. What should I expect during the treatment? You’ll remain fully clothed and seated. I’ll use a combination of gentle strokes, kneading, and pressure-point techniques on your upper back, shoulders, neck, head, and face. You may feel very relaxed, or even fall asleep, and that’s perfectly normal!

4. Do I need to prepare for the massage? No special preparation is needed. You may wish to wear a loose-fitting top for comfort. It's also a good idea to avoid heavy meals or alcohol just before your session. If you wear hair products or styles that may get in the way, consider tying your hair loosely.

5. Will oil be used during the massage? No, I don't use oils. 

6. Is Indian Head Massage safe for everyone?
It’s safe for most people. However, it may not be suitable if you have certain medical conditions like recent head/neck injuries, skin infections, or specific illnesses. We’ll go through a consultation before your first session to make sure it’s safe and tailored to you.

7. How will I feel after the massage? Most people feel deeply relaxed, lighter, and more clear-headed. You may also feel sleepy or emotionally reflective. Some clients report mild tiredness or a "detox" effect the next day, this is natural and should pass quickly.

8. How often should I have Indian Head Massage? This depends on your goals. For general relaxation and maintenance, once every 2–4 weeks is lovely. For ongoing stress, headaches, or tension, more frequent sessions may be beneficial at first.

9. Can I have it during pregnancy? Yes, but only after the first 3 months and with certain adjustments for safety and comfort. Always let me know if you're pregnant so I can tailor the treatment appropriately.
