Katy West has worked for me for 5 years supporting the events business at Radford Mill Farm.
Her duties have included cleaning and preparation of bedrooms, bathrooms and shared areas of the farmhouse and Shepherds’ Huts prior to guests arriving; welcoming guests and dealing with any requests they may have; preparation of breakfasts; and cleaning rooms and linen after use.
She has done this with exemplary care and I have been able to rely on her entirely to maintain very high standards. If I delegate a job to her I know it will be completed effectively without the need for me to check on her work. She is able to use her initiative and problem solve if issues arise.
She has also assisted in food preparation, serving and kitchen work for the weddings and other events we run and has been an excellent member of the bar staff.
Her customer relations are very good and she is able to get on with people from all walks of life. She is entirely honest and trustworthy.

Katy has been an active volunteer with our US based nonprofit, The Love Foundation, since 2011 and became our UK Volunteer Country Coordinator in 2015. She was elected as a member of our international Board of Directors in 2021. She continues to be a passionate advocate and example of our vision “inspiring people to love unconditionally” and is one of our most active global volunteers. Having come to know Katy personally through our many collaborations, she has a big heart and infuses her zest for life into every experience and encounter. Her delightful and spirited humor, combined with a genuine dedication to embodying love, makes her a joy to work and play with.
